Assalamalaikum,
WHY THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN HIJRI DATES OF KSA & INDIA?
Ok, I agree that Huzoor (PBUH) had asked the Muslims residing in India to follow Moon siting as the method of calculating Hijri dates because then it was not possible to quickly pass on the message by the way the two cities. If I am not wrong our Prophet had suggested this solution with regard to the communication gap.

Today we do not have such problems. Communication is just seconds away then still why do we follow that trend?

I mean to say, all Muslims are residents of this world only and we all know that a person can take birth and die only once i.e. only 1 particular day time, etc. then how is it that Milad Nabi that we celebrate in India is a day later to KSA? How Shab e Qadr is 1 night ahead in KSA? How Meraj took place at different nights in KSA and in India?

Yes I have same questions in mind. This is absolutely makes no sense to celebrate all Islamic events one day late than entire world! What I think is -
Islamic scolars in India do not want to accept the international timeline. So they think time (or any event) must start first at KSA and then they will follow it next day. Even if that is correct - then why rest of the eastern countries (like Indonesia/Malaysia/Pakistan/Afghanistan) do not follow it?
