I received a DUI two weeks ago... The only alcohol that I consumed, was 2 beers with my lunch at 11:30 A.M... I did not drive until 2:30 P.M... I was arrested at 3:30 P.M. because the officer smelled alcohol, after someone ran me off the road... I called the police myself... He asked me if I had anything to drink, and I admitted that I did, at 11:30... I was transported to the police station, and was administered a Breathalyzer Test at 5:00 P.M... The test came back with a .23, which is about 3 times over the limit... The officer said that he could still smell alcohol on me... I couldn't believe it... I posted bail, and was released... After returning home and thinking about everything, I realized what the high Breathalyzer result was probably caused by...
A few days earlier, I went to my storage unit, to remove some items... All of the items had been there for the past 6 years... I also found 2 half empty cans of freezing hairspray that were stored there... I brought them home and used some... I spray my hair very well, so a lot of spray was used... This was around 2:45 P.M... My question is, "Could the alcohol content in the aerosol hairspray had gotten stronger, which could have contributed to the Breathalyzer results to be so high & me acting like I was intoxicated"?. Alcohol Denat is the # 1 Ingredient... Also, this would be my 2nd Dui...
