Did you pay your fine and get all of the DWI talken care of. There is not a warrant or anything out on you ?
Do you mean is there a period after you are convicted of DWI that Canada will no longer hold that conviction against you to allow you to enter their nation ?

If you have a debt with ICBC from an impaired charge and they have not filed suit nor has any payments been made on a 76,000. Debt for the 6 year statute of limitation period, can they still try to recover the debt after the 6 years is up. They have suspended my license while the case was being investigated, it took 4 years to go to trial and I should never have been convicted, my charter was violated, many fact were not made available and I was unfairly convicted. ICBC doesn't care they just wan't to bankrupt me. I have tried to negotiate a fair settlement under the circumstances. So I have made no payments and they have initiated no lawsuit and the statute of limitations is up and I would like to petition the court to stop them from any further action to recover the debt as it is past the statute of limitations therefore they can no longer restrict my driving privilages as a result of the debt because that constitutes collection action after the limitation period. Can I do this?
