My 2004 6.0 diesel has a sudden loss issue that usually occurs after hitting a hard bump. The engine dies back to idle, stays running, cruise control shuts off completely and the glow plug light comes on. If I let off the throttle and press down again it continues on until the next occurrence, which could be a second later or two days.
