She always demand money for personal expenses for her and his child. She said it is duty for me to give her almost rs.5000 p.m. to her. She did not expend single penny for household expenses. Even I gave her maid payment to give her she said she purchased some item for that. She threatened me for legal notice and her brother also threatened me for legal case against me for dowry and domestic violence. She said if you not pay me monthly I did not give your child tiffin and break fast. She do this many times. I have maid for cooking. But the problem is that she did not come in school time for tiffin. All expenses I beared. I taken loan 4-5 lacs for house repair last one year. How can I do. I am unable to bear any expenses like this. I was too much disturbed that I took too much sleeping pills. She also blamed my child. My child also has gone two times from house and taking sleeping pills. She tortured him. My life is so terrible. What should I do. Please help in and advice me what should I do . I am living in lucknow. My in-laws has too much interfere in my life. I do not understand that this the only duty for husband to make family responsibility and wife has no responsibility even not cooking food and take care of home and child.

You need to seek a local solicitor to find out what your legal options are for you and your son. This is at a point where there is almost no recovery. But your going to need the strength to move on and get away from her. What religion do you practice? Is there someone in your faith you can speak with in privacy ?

Are you asking as a religious issue or a legal one? Marriage is a partnership. But from a legal standpoint if you feel your partner is not holding up their end you divorce them. From a religious standpoint, however, you may enlist the aid of clergy to mediate your problems.

It sounds to me like your current wife married you because she knew you would be away most of the time so she married you as a meal ticket (for your money).
