I live on the 4th floor of an apartment building that was built in the 60's. This week a faucet went bad and leaked into the neighbors ceiling and warped the sheetrock and part fell down. I have been staying here since April and the hairline crack that runs almost side to side has never leaked. After fixing the faucets, the leak stopped. It looks like a one piece some sort of stone shower stall. Can this be sealed. The crack has been there as long I can remember, but never leaked, but we would like to seal it.

To answer I would have to know what material, exactly, the floor is made of. If it hasn't leaked then that's a good sign that the crack can be caulked. Regards, Tom
