I gave birth a month ago. I started brestfeedind for the first two weeks then switched to formula. I just started having sex again and then two days later I thought I got my period but its just spotting a little bit. Is that normal should I have anything to worry about??

It takes a while for your period to get back to normal after giving birth, and having breastfed. If you don't want to get pregnant right away (which is a good idea to avoid for a little while, to give your body time to recover) You need to get on birthcontrol. Since you are no longer breastfeeding, you have a lot more options with your birthcontrol choices. At least use a condom in the meantime. It seems to be a lot easier to get pregnant right away, after just having a baby. So you need to be extra careful. You can talk to your ob/gyn and they can tell you about your options, as well as help you understand the changes your body is undergoing after baby. Good luck and best wishes

I didn't even spot, I just never had a period after I had my first, there is exactly 10 months between my first 2 children. But some women do have implantation spotting. This piece may help you decide if it was implantation bleeding what you have had:-
