I want to be popular in high school

I would imagine a lot of kids want to be popular. You are or you're not, in a negative way or a positive way. There are no easy answers. Just be yourself.

There are many different ways to be popular, and I can assure you, the kind of popular you seek is not all that great.

You want to be popular? Be yourself, you will find friends who enjoy your company and not that of someone you are pretending to be. Why go out and try to be someone you're not, and have friends who don't truly like you. Then what? When you graduate and all go elsewhere, you'll have nothing.

I wasn't the "popular" kid in high school, but I had many friends. Friends who liked me for me, because I wasn't pretending. What you see is what you get, and I'm still in touch with many of those friends.
