Hi I have no lease and I left my room and when I came back it was locked up and I can't get my things... if I've been living their for 2 years and all my mail has been going there for 2 years can I just break the door open to my room and get my clothes? I only left my room for 4 days to help a friend. I don't understand some people. But the person who let me stay here for 2 years won't answer they phone and won't give me my clothes. Does anyone know what I can do?

Hi, go to the Police, prove this was your residence, ask their assistance in gaining entry. Gather up your belongings and leave.
What your roommate has done is illegally. You cannot "just" lock someone out. You CAN sue your roommate for your inconvenience and anything that is missing.

Was rent paid, do you know of a reason they may have done this?
If you break the door down, issue of who pays for it, but the police may help you get in, or you call a lock smith ( my choice) to let you in.
