I am looking for an old movie where a boy stows away on a ship - I think it's a pirate ship. The boys name is Connor

Possibly Shipwrecked (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099816/), but his name is not Connor. How old is the movie?

I am not 100%, but it was pretty old, I think around 1960ish?

The boys name was definitely Connor / Conor. I am trying to track it down to give to my son Connor for his 16th birthday, as this was the movie we chose his name from. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the movie, I just know it was an old movie - the footage was quite grainy -and the young boy named Connor was discovered as a stow away and befriended an old man who was on the ship - I am pretty sure it was a pirate ship.

I looked at a site that has many movies if not all listed and could not find anything from 1950-1970 that has a boy named conor in it that is a pirate movie

I did find that there was a movie and the ACTOR'S name was donald o'connor called

Maybe if you look at actors' names. Maybe it's not the character but actor's name and you got it mixed up
So look for actor's that made pirate movies in the time frame you want
