I go to there website (GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program (http://www.gimp.org/)).
Then I click the download button on the right.
After that, it takes me to the download section.
I click "Download GIMP 2.8.0 – Installer for Windows XP SP3 or later."
Then it redirects me to the Source Forge page and I download the installer.
After I am done downloading the installer, I run the installer and get this,
"These files are corrupt, please obtain a new copy."
I've reinstalled the GIMP Installer, and still get the same thing.

Additional details -
I am running on a Acer Netbook Windows 7 Starter 32-Bit, Intel Atom Processor N450.

You are trying to install the wrong version.
Try this location instead: Download The Gimp 2.8.0 - FileHippo.com (http://www.filehippo.com/download_the_gimp/)

Thank you, I kind of figured I was downloading the wrong version.
I thought "Windows XP SP3 or later" meant or later Windows versions.
I.e. Windows 7
