How about simply sitting around moaning about how unfair life is.

Things that are worthwhile are worth working for.
So what are your interests?

How about writing an essay for our site blog? Post again if you are interested.

Now really - a hobby is born out of interest, not because someone tells you what to do.
Countless people take up a hobby after spending a fortune getting started, only to drop it 2 weeks later.
Actually that's a good way to find a bargain on supplies.
Painting, knitting, Chinese or Indian cooking, flower gardening.
Astronomy, chess, Scrabble, bridge, poker, bird watching.
Woodworking, playing a musical instrument, writing poetry or songs.
Speed walking, swimming, hang gliding.
Volunteer at a women's or animal shelter, make doll clothes to donate at Christmas.
QUICK - does one pop out at you?

I think fish are a great hobby! I only have one so far but I love caring for him! Also I know that gardening is a popular hobby especially with a lot of pretty flowers!

Jigsaw puzzles (time yourself for small ones), brainteasers (rubik's cube), crosswords, sudoku, or online games at pogo.com are free and are widely varied. There's also currency tracking at WheresGeorge.com though that is kind of slow. Learn a new card game. Magic tricks or slight of hand tricks (make a coin disappear). Go to a library or Amazon.com to research hobbies.
