Go to your family chemist store or medical practitioner and get yourself on the pill would be a much better idea than using condoms, that way you will be in control of when you want to have babies.
Good Luck with the boyfriend in the mean time... ;-)

If you are not ready to be a mother, refrain from sex.
You see, there are birth control methods that decrease the risk of pregnancy, but pregnancy is always a possibility. Nothing is 100% effective.
I'll give you a personal story... I used the pill AND the condom perfectly, never missed a pill, never took antibiotics and got pregnant not once, but twice! Also, I had cancer and was taking some heavy duty chemotherapy that rendered me sterile. I had the blood work (hormone tests) to prove that my hormone levels were so off that it was impossible for me to get pregnant. Well, guess what. I got pregnant.
So you see, anytime you have sex you run the risk of pregnancy.

Safe way, first even using two or more methods at one time, you can still get pregnant.
But, get on birth control pills and be on them at least one month before sex. Also use a condom that has sperm killing agent with it.
