How can they levy my bank account with out a judgement from a judge and for a debt that isn't mine and only my name is on the account and has been from the start and I was not notified on anything I only found out because I checked my account they left me nothing to live on and so how and what can I do to get the bank to correct what has happened.. :confused:

You will haveto file a motion to quash with the court that issued the judgment and garnishment.

The whole thing is that there was not a judegement there was a request for garnish but was denied that is in the court papers but not a judgement and this debt isn't mine it belongs to the ex and it was against him and his ex back in 2000 before we even met or got married there saying because I was or am is spouse I assume his debts not the bank account is mine and has been never had his name its and all new account so please help

You Still Have To File The Motion At That Court To Release Your Account Even Though It Is Not Against You For The Judgment.
