We have been dating for 8years with my boyfriend an now we have 2 kids.he had vowed three times that we will get married but a month before the date we had agreed,he comes and make excuses that we must postpone our wedding and he has done this thing 3 times now.should I move on with my life or stay in this relationship which has no future.

That's a decision only you can make... its pretty clear he's really trying to avoid the situation... however... as a matter of cover your butt. Before you decide to walk out... look into the laws defining common law marriage in your state. It's possible that you are entitled to the same benefits as a spouse in a divorce upon a split (like alimony and division of assets). I know in VA 7 years living together is all it takes. And he will be on the hook for child support in any case.

You should move on... If he wants to be with you then he will stop u... bt if does not want to be with you then he can leave you at any point of time.. which will make your situation worse... because he is not under any obligation of supporting you and you kids... n you should also consider the suggestion given by the above member... all the best... May God bless you and your kids...

Yes you will get married, but it depends on you!You should get court marriage if you fair that you have the relation ship which has got no future. And if you had done court marriage at first hand, then go to the God's House and get Married because you two may be couple in the eyes of world but you two are not husband and wife in the eyes of almighty.

I will be praying for you two so that you two will have a good life.

Lauri, you've just stepped into a legal arena.

Of course he's responsible for supporting HIS children. This is bad advice, very bad advice indeed.
