I have a friend who was recently arrested for strong arm robbery. He did not have any weapons on him when the incident happened. He was charged as an adult because of his age. This is his first time ever being arrested. He has no prior arrest. He is currently working and attending college. What is his possibility of getting probatation?

This is considered to be a violent crime. How good is his Attorney?

If he has a real good attorney, maybe, a slight one. So much is maybe, how strong is the evidence, will he take a plea deal, will they offer one. I really see at least a small amount of jail time then probation, but all he can do is try
