I saw this movie in the 80's and I can't find the name anywhere. Its about this group of kids, a few boys and a girl. They have this dog that is captured by a "bad dog catcher" and the dog is taken to a kennel run by a scary bald guy. The whole premise of themovie is these kids setting up this big plan to rescue the dog. Through the movie they go visit this old "hermit" guy, go to a rundown scary funhouse with weird clowns, and they have a scene where the girl who has short hair an d dimples is makong all the boys exercise to we got the beat! They are wearing gay 80;s workout outfits!! Please help its driving me crazy!

That could be Beethoven (1992). There is a warehouse scene where they rescue the dog in the end and Stanley Tucci is in it (bald). Not sure about the hermit. It does have all the elements of the kids and the rescue. Can you remember what kind of dog? That could narrow it down a bit.
