My boyfriend just broke up with me and we have a 7 month old daughter. I have been a stay at home mom all this time. He is expecting me to move in with my dad and he says he wants joint custody of her. He also says that he is willing to pay $500 a month to care for her. My questions are: can I move to Washington with my daughter if I were to find a job there? ( I will be going there to visit family in 3 weeks) will he have a right to have the courts order me and or my daughter back? I have been the primary caretaker for my daughter but he has been financially supporting us throughout her life. I was at three months post birth offered a job but he convinced me not to take it. Does the fact that I don't work have any bearing on who will get primary physical custody or our daughter? He is on the birth cert an I believe at birth signed paternity papers. Thanks in advance
