I would like to put a stackable washing machine in my kitchen. From a purely plumbing standpoint how feasible is it to hire a plumber to place hookups in my kitchen for a regular clothes washing machine. Is this something that is reasonable to do in most cases?

How much is it likely to cost in terms of labor hours and equipment costs?

Thanks

Joseph

No problem. He could take the hot and cold off the kitchen sink and cut the discharge into a branch tailpiece ahead of the sink trap and eliminate the need for a separate vent and trap. The discharge hose must be looped up higher then the flood rim of the washer to prevent baclk flow or a check valve installed on the hose. Happy Holidays, Tom

One little thing you may want to consider,, is there enough room?
