My mother is suffering from liver cirrhosis genotype 3 with viral load 187000.We have consulted het in Institute Of Liver and Biliary Sciences (Vasant Kunj) in India. Doctor suggested to go with the treatment of giving interferon injection with close monitoring.
My Question is " Is this treatment is advisable at her age is 64 years.”? Please suggest.
