I am having a terrible issue with water pressure in my trailer. We are on county water and whenever you turn on the hot it runs with a decent amount of pressure for about 15 seconds then slows to a trickle. The cold water has also diminished to a bigger trickle, but a trickle nonetheless. At random times the pressure seems to be OK. More often though, it is terrible.

We moved here last summer and the place had previously only been used on the occasional summer weekend by my in-laws, every year they would drain everything and winterize. So the hot water tank was not used much. We replaced the water regulator when we moved in and the pressure was OK but not what we had in our other place. The water company came out last week and told me the pressure from their end was at 145 which he said was very strong. We have an outdoor spigot between the regulator and the house that works well, so it is when it reaches the house that we have a problem.

So I wonder if the Pvc pipes have sediment in them or if it is a problem with the hot water tank. If it's the tank, would that have an effect on the cold water flow? And how do I determine if it is the pipes or the tank?

Is every water tap, except the outside spigot, this bad?

If were my call I'd get someone in to flush out your pipes and check out the cartridges for blockages. Good luck, Tom

Yes, the outside is good but all the inside ones are bad in varying degrees of strength. Also the hot taps regularly spit air throughout the house but not the cold. The shower is only 6 feet away from the hot water tank and has the worst pressure of any of the other taps. I removed the shower head completely and the problem is not the fixture

On second thought, the shower head gets its supply from the downspout right? It was dripping and we haven't replaced it yet, but it doesn't drip anymore. Perhaps it is the culprit for the almost no flow in the shower, I will check but I still have poor flow in the rest of the house. Will update as soon as I can.

Most of us believe you have debris/trash caught in your faucet valves. They would need to be disassembled and cleaned out, water lines blown out with valves removed too.
