Okay, here goes. This is the first time I have asked for help... Twenty years ago when we were in our first house for 10 years we have had things happen like seeing shadows. TV's turning on and off. Lights, too. Now, we are in our second home and we have been here for 10 years. I believe what we had at the other house has followed us. Same thing... TV's turn on and off, and not only that. They have changed channels when you are trying to watch something. Doors have closed. My kids, when they were younger always talked about the man upstairs. This man, they described him as all black, would stand in their doorways at night and sway back and forth. My son has found his pillows in front of his bedroom door many times after waking up in the morning. We have had a faucet turn on by itself. We've heard people talking that were'nt there. We've had animals acting odd, such as barking and looking where nothing was. A cat I had would sit in front of the wall in my bedroom and look up for no apparent reason. I have had something crawl in bed with me, thinking it was my husband, but finding out he slept on the couch all night. This really bothered me. So many uneasy feelings. I have been touched on the back of my shoulder. I've had something messing with my hair. Like I would be sitting watching TV and it was like someone was taking one strand of hair and pulling on it lightly. For some time, things seemed to quiet down. We only heard thumping coming from upstairs, and no, it wasn't caused by an animal, as I have always checked things out. Now, the activity has increased again. I was watching TV around 2:30 am. I always keep the light on above the stove. I seen a shadow on the side of the video cabinet. It had to of passed across the light in the kitchen, making it reflect on the video cabinet in the living room. It was a man with a bald head and his shoulders. I didn't see any outline of any hair.This time I did not get up to investigate. I didn't move.This scared me. I tried to ignore it. I didn't see anymore that night, but I could hear something going up and down the stairs. My son, has been having nightmares and hasn't been sleeping well at all. He said this nightmare happens over and over. After he woke up, he said there was a demonic looking child at the foot of his bed. The child said, "I had to wake you up before you burned". This scares my son and I. The other night he had his cell phone on top of his video cabinet. It's wood. It kind of reminds me of a book case. Anyway, he watched his phone leave from the top of it, very slowly, like being dragged, and over the edge and onto the floor. No, it wasn't set to vibration. My 2 yr old granddaughter said she had to go potty the other night. She went in the downstairs bathroom and came running back out with a scared look on her face. She was crying. I've never, ever seen her look so scared. She pulled me into the bathroom and then, into the laundry room, which is through the bathroom, and was pointing into the laundry room. I went in to check it out, and seen nothing. She was still crying and had that scared look on her face and wouldn't let me leave until after she was done with the potty. Normally, I would ignore things going on here, but now, my son is freaked after the most recent things that are going on. He also felt something breathing in his ear. Also, the fact that my granddaughter is very scared now. I think it's time that something is done. Any thoughts as to what kind of spirits we have here?

I highly suggest that you find a Native American or First Nations person and get your house smudged because the spirit is showing you that it can touch you and your possessions easy enough and it's trying to tell you that it can manifest. It has to you and your grand daughter and with a child being pure and innocent, it will easily appear to them. Ask them to "smudge" you and your family and your house along with your belongings. Don't be afraid to tell them why, we are as first nation taught at an early age to know and recognize paranormal. Sounds like the spirit is attached to your family and not the place and there is a message there or a lost soul. I would ask what it wants, tape it with a phone recorder and or any recording device, you will get an answer and I know this is not what you want to hear but without taking proper actions, you will continue to go through this activity with your family.

I will agree with mkmqbabe only on the fact that this spirit(s) seems to be attached to your family. This could have started in the old house and followed you or it may have been in your family for some time.

I, however, offer you biblical perspective. According to the Bible, human spirits do not remain after death and I hope it is obvious to you these spirits are not angelic. This leaves ONLY the demonic. Scary? Yes... but there is always hope... and it is always stronger than what is in your home. Jesus Christ gave His church COMPLETE authority over such spirits. A spiritually mature Christian needs to get involved with this situation. I am not talking about the Catholic church... I am talking about any born-again believer that understands the details of spiritual warfare. After 20 years I am sure you are tired of this. You can finally put a stop to this. Would you be willing to reach out to the church for help?
