I had a nodular melanoma removed from my eary along with 6 lymph nodes five years ago (after waiting a full year to have the mole checked out once I noticed it) and I now have a high hematocrit level. Is this something I should be worried about? I know that a high hematocrit level can be present with some tumors. I also had a partial thyroidectomy for a benign goiter a year after my melanoma was removed and have been on Synthroid since that time (4 years) and everything has been fine until recently, when it was found that my TSH was very low at .09. I'm concerned there could be something potentially serious going on. I can't find any information on the web about a high hematocrit level in the setting of a history of nodular melanoma.

Right from the start there are too many variables and too little information here. So you need to ask each specialist in charge of both conditions. Doing your own research is admirable but I don't think this is the type of question to be asking people online about. If you haven't seen the dermatologist since the thyroidectomy, I would do so.
