I am not as handy as notsohandygirl. My bathroom drains are slow to stopping. The bathroom is the farthest plumbing from the septic tank and the other bathroom and kitchen are draining well. I don't know what a drum trap is and I am not crawling under the house. Is there anything I can do from in the house?

If you have slow bath drains, the main cause is hair. If it is a slow bathtub drain, the hair collects at the opening of the drain at the crossbars or on the bracket under the stopper. Try a drain tool like The Drain Claw. You can unclog the tub without dangerous chemicals. You can check it out at http://www.thedrainclaw.com

If your traps are the problem plunging will help. However, if every single drain in that bathroom is equally slow it could be a larger clog downstream of the traps. Try plunging and the hair removal tool first but if you aren't handy and don't want to go under the house you may have to call a plumber.
