This is a "sticky" situation. Just a little background, broke up with my ex about a yr ago, and have been hanging out with one of my old friends (whom I've known for about 10yrs) A lot for about 9 months. I had invited her to my cousins wedding 6 months ago and I had asked her if she was still going many times (to make sure she still wanted to go, didn't want her to feel insecure meeting my family, had to make certain plans involving 2 people instead of one, etc.). She thought I was being "shady" and thought that because I had asked her so many times that either a) I did not want her to go anymore or b) I wanted to bring someone else. Needless to say, she didn't end up going because she had thought both of those things. During MY COUSINS wedding, I did text her twice though, but never called her once (I was out of state for the wedding left on Thursday came back on Saturday. I thought she was still coming until the very last day. Yet, because she thought I was acting "shady" in the beginning, she doesn't trust me anymore because I didn't call her the 2-3 days I was there (even though I did text her twice). We were finally "turning a corner" and about to have "the talk" about a serious relationship. Now she completely does not trust me and/or think that I was totally neglecting her feelings. I explained why I had asked her if she wanted to come to the wedding and she understood (not really I guess now), and she does not trust me at all, therefore we cannot be in a relationship if there is no trust on anyone's side. I didn't bring another girl and didn't do anything wrong. We both really like each other but now, I am open for suggestions if I could possibly save this. Most likely not, but I am completely open to suggestions because I really like her. Sorry to sound like a 13yr old rambling on. I appreciate any input anyone may have. Thank you.

I don't understand why she thought you were shady or got upset.
How old is she?
That sounds silly. You might want to just leave her alone.
