I just stained an antique buffet and the stain's red hue settled on the bottom of the can and when I stained the last few drawers the stain went on really thick and I wiped it off but it soaked in and the color of those drawers are quite a bit more red than the rest of the buffet. I hasn't dried yet after 3 days and keeps bleeding and I wipe it off. Is there anything I can do? Is there a certain kind of cloth to wipe it down with or solution to clean it with? Thanks in advance for any advise

Keep rubbing it with rags such as old tee shirts, and some paint thinner.
(You are supposed to stir stain with a flat paint stirrer.)
