I have a 40 Gal Wirepool Hot water Heater. It was not lighting up this morning. They are mailing me the assembly for Thermo Cuple and other parts. How do I install that?

I would like to know where the Anoderod is located because I believe it could have lime scale build up. I have 50 gal US CRAFTMASTER heater and we are on a well
