I took my girl to the ER yesterday they said she has strep I gave her medicine at 9 last night and now she has a fever of 40.0 should I take to the ER or should I give her some fever medicine.

Has she had plenty of water? Do that, plus some children's Tylenol, wait a bit, take her temp, then call the ER if her temp hasn't gone down. The ER is going to want to know what you gave her first. Tons of water or watered down juice or very weak tea.
