I lost my Portuguese ID card. Currently I am living in London and have a valid Portuguese passport. However, I am regsitered at the Portuguese consulate in Cape Town, South AFrica. What is the best way of me re-applying for a Portuguese ID. So far I have registered the loss with the London police. Is it best for me to go back to Cape Town?
