on a regular parallelogram, the height is x cm. the perimeter is 44 cm. the length is 3 times as long as the height. The slant is 2 cm longer than the height. Find the area of the parallelogram

Since the height is X, the length is 3X.
Also, since the slanted side is 2cm more than the height, the slanted side is X+2.
So... The perimeter is 2(3X+X+2).

44=2(3X+X+2)
22=4X+2
4X=20
X=5

The formula of the area is height x length.
So, X(3X)=5(15)=75cm2
