I am sixteen, and me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year now, we've had sex for a couple months now and we are always safe but yesterday we messed around and got caught up into things and we did not use any type of because, he did not ejaculate inside me or even come close to it. This was just one day ago and today I'm feeling a weird bubbling feeling in my tummy, could possibly be gas or I'm possibly paranoid? I know being on your period doesn't mean you can't get pregnant but I just got off mine and I'm not ovulating or any of that? Help please? I'm so stressed about this I can't sleep.

Its probably paranoia. It is too soon for you to be having any symptoms. If the sex was just yesterday you still have time for a Morning After Pill.

But here is the thing. ANY time you have penile insertion you risk a pregnancy. You can reduce the risk by various forms of birth control but you can't eliminate them. No form of control is 100%. You got caught up in the moment, but once calmer heads prevailed you got scared and the butterflies in your tummy are just nerves at this point.

However, if it stresses you out so much, why are you taking the risks? NO ONE should be engaging in sexual intercourse until they are emotionally, physically and financially prepared to have a child. If you are sexually active you can become caught up in that "moment" again.

Of course as you know even before, no form of birth control is 100 percent, so even taking the pill and using condoms BOTH< you can still get pregnant, happens a 1000 times a week.

But now you can only wait, you will have to wait to see if you get your period next month or not.
