We have a child who went through Viral encephalitis. He is well physically now. Before, he was able to speak well, sing and respond to things taught to him. After suffering viral encephalitis, he is still playful, could understand simple instructions but he still can't speak. We let him listen to rhymes and music but he just sing but not with words. I just want to now what style of teaching can we use to teach him how to speak, or proper materials to use. Thank you for the response.
