Anyone hearing the word 'pus' would actually think something gross but it is actually white blood cells sent to fight an infection. In this case the infection could be a urinary tract infection, kidney infection, but definitely something that has to be seen to with antibiotics.
I am always amazed that people don't ask questions of the healthcare provider handing over a diagnosis and imagine the worse case scenario of what is happening when only a few questions will clear anything up.
So... your doctor says what... antibiotics?
Edit: are you male or female?
Edit: okay, now I know https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/mens-health/std-667180.html
It doesn't necessarily have to be an STD

Pus in your urine? I would see a doctor about that. The internet can't help you.
