I went through a Domestic Violence case, had no lawyer for the first two hearings, but, had a Public Defender for the trial, who suggested that I consent to the refrain from order, without admitting to the allegations (which I did). I've known all along that she is the abuser and couldn't bring myself to prove it in court (she found my journal, hid it, and my lawyer said that he was only there to defend me from the allegations). I have proof of the way she talks to me, in front of the children, which I sent to my own e-mail. I had a T.B.I. at the age of 19, when she was 7. She talks over me, and others. The refrain from order is in effect for three more months, but, I can't let her get away with it. I need to be there for my children, but, she consumes herself with them. I have been concerned about the children learning from her incorrect teachings. How can I get back to the starting point and prove her wrong?

There is little you can do with your old case, if you are the father, you go to court to get visits with the kids, without the ex being around You have a lot to fight about and over, time for an attorney.
