I said some very nasty things to my partner of 19 years and I told him not to return to our home. I am so sorry for the thing I said but he would not return he is living with another woman. I want him back, he said he would come back for 1 month. What can I do to make him want to stay??

Why did you say "nasty things" ? Do the two of you argue or fight often.

You can suggest counseling and see if you can work out the problems.

There's nothing we can offer. You can try all sorts of things. For one, apologizing for being nasty, telling him that you'll change, fixing whatever issues caused this to begin with, hoping that he's not in love with this other woman, etc. etc.

It all depends on him, and what he wants. Does he want to continue a relationship with someone that forced him out of his home, or does he want to move on?

You can only hope that he wants to fix the issues the two of you have, and obviously there are issues. I doubt this is the first time you've blown up at him, but it could well be the last.
