Refrigerator just does not freeze on high temperature, or does not get cold at all, freezer and bottom. The freezer fan comes on full force, and the light comes on good, but no kick on from the unit itself. I disconnected it after all my food thawed out, and unplugged it for 2 days. I then replugged it in, and nothing happened. Just the light and the freezer fan. All controls were up to max. I even put an ice tray in the freezer, but it did nothing. What do you think is the problem?

Check the thermostat with an ohm meter, or put a jumper between the two terminals. If using a meter with unit unplugged, a reading of zero or near zero means the t-stat is good, if it reads infinity or a high reading it's bad and all you may need is a new t-stat which you can buy in a universal kit at any appliance parts or HVAC supply store. If jumping out the t-stat with a jumper wire, put jumper on two terminals and plug in unit. If it comes on you have found the problem; just get a new t-stat. Make sure to wash out coils under unit and clean fan blades, too. If dirty you can burn up compressor and that cannot be fixed so easily.
