It took 120 days for the D.A.s office to get discovery to the public defender in my sons case. He plead guilty to a menacing charge which was not an original charge that he had received. He was charged with burglary and trespass of his own residence. Violation of a protection order that no longer was in effect. And domestic violence. His girlfriend admitted to the D.A. that she fabricated her story. How do I fight this?

120 days is fairly quickly, they just have to provide it with enough time to be reviewed prior to court, if the court date is too close, his attorney can get additional time to review evidence. In some cases such as drugs, it can take over a year to get tests back from the drug lab. So discovery can be well over a year.
Did he take a plea deal ( you said he plead guilty) to something, if this was a plea deal and he already plead guilty there is nothing you can do.
