I took a Xanax 2.5mg Monday, which was yesterday, I have a drug test this Monday coming up. Will I pass? If not, I want help to pass.

Nothing... you blew that chance at passing the test by abstaining from doing what you were supposed to do. And not take them. If you really want to pass you will do what you are told to do... and not take what you are not supposed to be taking... I am subject to random drug testing as a condition of my employment... Have been for over 30 years... I've never failed a test yet.

I'm assuming that since you are asking the question that you do not have a prescription for Xanax.
You do know that is illegal right?

Okay, I'm going to actually answer this instead of judging you or telling you that you should not have taken it. First, you are probably going to fail your drug test. Pills stay in the system for a long time. However you do have an option. Go to the doctor, not a hospital, and try to get a prescription. I am telling you this under the assumption that you took the Xanax for an anxiety issue.

I wanted to revise my answer. You may pass your drug test. A week is a long time, especially with you sweating bullets. I'm not quite sure if you are on parole, or have a p.o. Or you are just worried about losing your job. We all do stupid things sometimes. My first answer was a gut reaction panic answer. I know it's hard but just relax and learn from this.

No judgement here, just stating a fact. I too am subject to random testing and have on occasion been put on meds for pain, or anxiety, if I had not had a prescription I would have been in trouble, not only at my job but potentially with the law.
You may pass, you may not, I don't know.
I surely would take this lesson to heart though.
If anxiety is an issue for you then you should really see your Doctor about it, there may be other things you can do to help deal with it without taking drugs meant for someone else.

Yeah, you busted for now, they can even detect it within 30 days since you took it. It is better to wait for a while now, than taking this risk
