I have been talking to a man that I met last year from online on a christian web based dating site we were friends only but now we have decided to date(I know its weird) but I can say that I really love him. He is from sierra leone (in Africa) and I live in the us, from what I seen in his "pictures" he is a handsome guy and he like what he sees on this end. I want to be with him and he feels the same but we both have a lot of cons and pros to this first: I have a child from a previous marriage, he lives in eastern Europe right now and I'm not in a financial situation (right now) to marry him because I know the realization of this marriage can seem fishy to most but I can really say that there is something there to us knowing each other, plus after many years of american men I've decided to give up on them because for some reason they just don't get the kind of woman I'm (nor appreciate the kind of woman I'm) so international is the only way for me. Any advice is appreciated thanks

I really have no advice. I've met people online that I consider friends, and I adore, but I'd never ever consider a romantic relationship (mostly because I'm married, but even if I were single), with any of them until I got to know them face to face.

I'm not sure what sort of advice you want. If you can't afford to meet him, and marry him, then your decision has been made for you.

You don't know this guy. You only know him from on line conversation. How and why would you want to marry him?
What kind of financial situation do you need to be in? Is he asking for you to come up with some funds?
I think you need to think and then rethink this
