Okay so my friend saw this movie about a year ago and she described it to me and said that it was awesome but she can't remember the title or name of characters or all those important things you need to know to easily find out the name of the movie. == But she remembers some of the scenes. Maybe the sequence is wrong but from these could you please help us find out what movie it is?
- So there's this guy (the hero), his best friend/brother(?) just died, so he's all sad and stuff. Then he goes to a subway station and saw a girl (the heroin), drunk, laying/sleeping/passed out on a bench, so he decided to help her go back home. He calls a cab and upon reaching her house he discovered that she was actually filthy rich. And that she has a dad that's not happy with all the dudes sending her home every time she's drunk. Er, I think.
- After that the guy and girl meet again. The girl is a big believer of fate and destiny and all that so erm... yeah... There was this scene where both of them decided to not see each other again. They were going to part at another subway station, I think. Then at the last second both of them changed their minds, but lol epic fail, the girl got out the train and the guy got IN so they actually switched places. They ended up parting while forlornly looking at each other. The way my friend described the scene was funny but I think it's supposed to be a very touching moment in the movie. XD
- This one is near to the end: The two had decided to write letters(?) to each other and then bury them under a tree. They promised one year later they would meet up again under the tree and read the letters together. 365 days later, the guy is waiting for the girl but she never shows up, so he decided to read them pieces of papers by himself. In one of them, the girl said that if she doesn't show up one year later, which was the present already, under that tree, she still haven't gotten over her last boyfriend(?). Turns out, the guy's best friend/brother(?) that died earlier was the girl's boyfriend(?). DUNDUNDUN.
Hahaha! So, yeah. Can anyone tell me the name of this movie? Much thanks in advance!! =D
