Hello,
My 16 year old daughter was enrolled in a private boarding high school this past year. Because she had almost no support from her dorm parent, found some of the teaching to be mediocre, and was unhappliy all year, she has made the mature decision to return to her public high school, where she did very well. The amazing thing is: no one at the boarding school has asked any of us anything about her departure. We received a check in the mail refunding some of her paid tuition, so they are aware. Why would they be so dismissive, and prevent us from being heard and having any closure? It's now hurtful and angering in addition to being sad that this dream has become such a disappointment.
