I am trying to remember a movie I saw on television in the early to mid 1990s. It was about a rich man (or about to inherit some money) and his fiancée who are kidnapped by another man. The details are fuzzy but I remember the rich man tells his fiancée that he really has no money and she is then very angry at him throughout the movie. At some point she willingly sleeps with the kidnapper while the rich man is tied up on the floor beside them. She then plots with the kidnapper to kill the rich man and find some scheme to get some more money. The rich man falls off a cliff rather than being shot and he survives the fall. He them comes back and gets revenge on the kidnapper and the girl. At the end of the movie, the rich man really does inherit a lot of money and he tells the girl he just wanted to know if she really loved him without all the money. He then gives her a dime so she can take a cab home.

This movie has been bothering me for a while. If anyone can help me find the name of it, I'd be very grateful.
