I have received a call from my po here in Oklahoma that my req to transfer probation to Kansas has been denied. Then a letter was sent to my po and I stating that I have to come see a probation supervisor on June 6,2012. I called the probation supervisor and she said that I had violated my probation. I am on the mental illness caseload in tar rant county. I had serious problems with my mental health. I moved out of my family home to the ghetto by myself. I was not taking my meds like I was prescribed to. I didn't take them at all. I wrote several bogus checks and used a credit card that was not mine. I met with a detective here in Lawton, OK gave him back the merchandise that I had bought with the credit card. At that time he told me that he would let the DA know that I returned the items to him. At that time I knew my mental state was extremely bad. I moved back into my family home. Soon after that I put myself back into the mental hospital. I was there 7 days. About 4 months later I am doing good mental health wise. New dr. New meds. The Sherrifs dept came to my home with warrants for my arrest. They took me to comma Che county jail. I was there overnight. I was released on OR bond. I did tell my probation officer here that I had been arrested. Not happy but she said see what the OK courts say. So I went before a judge set up an appt to see the DA. I saw him last week and we set up for me Togo in Friday with him have a judge sign off on the plea agreement. 2 misdeamoners. Probation and restitution. These charges will not be pending on June 6th when I have to go back to TX probation supervisor. Also I have not completed my community service or paid fines to tx. My po here in OK wrote to the po stating that I was told about the community service monthly, but I suffer from seizures and cannot drive. My husband is a 1SG in the Army and could not take me to said community service, but that at the end of June he will be retiring from the Army and will be able to do so. Like I said earlier there is no motion to revoke YET! I am hoping there is something that I can do to not have said motion. Which brings me to my next question... we are an active Army family. My husband is retiring 30 jun. He is going back to his old job, civil service for the Army,in Wichita Kansas. I need to transfer my probation to Kansas they are saying I cannot do that since I have pending charges. My Ok po said that I could not go to Kansas I could only stay in Ok or Tx. That is not an option for my family. I will be inTX for the meeting on June 6th. But I do not know where to go from there. I am needing to know how to start this whole process. Like I said I would like not to have a motion to revoke is that possible? I am hoping you can help me with this situation I have gotten myself into.

There are no acceptable excuses to violate your probation... you knew the rules when you accepted it.

You WILL find a way to comply until you complete the probation period. Even if that means you are living there alone... Unless you would rather do it in jail... because that is your only other option.

Getting to move is not your worry here, having to go to jail or prison is your worry.

You have several violations of probation, that includes criminal charges, now that you plead guilty, there is no issue for probation if you did it or not. So it will be up to them to decide if you go back on probation, or if you go to jail. You may well get some jail time before you go back on probation. Do not expect to be allowed to move for some time.
