Hey there. I've got a friend, and, she doesn't really know what to do... She likes this guy, but she doesn't know what to do, because she doesn't want to be in a relationship, but she still really likes him. She can't tell him, because it could ruin their friendship and she doesn't want a relationship. However, she can't go on like this forever, I thought I should share this with people who may have more expertise.
To answer any questions, no, "she" is not me, my friend is 14 and the guy she likes is she's never seen him. We're all part of a community too, but anonymous users. Thank you to all who has/is reading this.

Hi Karina,
Is she certain that he wants more of a relationship than just friendship? Since she has never seen him, is this due to it being online? She can say things to him as,"I am so glad to have you as a friend on here", or "This is great that we can all have friends on here who share the same interests."
If he is actually asking her to be more like a girlfriend she could simply tell him that she is flattered, but that she isn't ready for a boyfriend right now, or isn't looking for a boyfriend right now. Then she leaves it at that, and carries on as before... chatting, joking around, whatever. If it were to ruin the friendship, which I don't think it would, it wasn't much of a friendship to begin with then.

Thank you for your answer. They are friends, and he only things of her as that. Now, she likes him, but is afraid of telling him. Since she's a teenager, I believe she has mixed emotions, she likes him, he likes her, but as friends. She likes him a little more though. She says "He's the standered gentlemen", because he's sweet. They e-mail each other, as friends. Hope that answers your questions, so, now that that's out there, anymore advice?
