On probation. Had to sign abstinence agreement... which for the most part is fine but really?? If I want to have a glass of wine. Or at most 2 in my own home once in a while I'm an abuser of alcohol?? This one size fits all enforcement is stupid!! So my question is if I decide to have 4-8 OUNCES of wine on a fri eve... and no other alcohol would my EtG be OK on mon? I don't even know if I'm subject to these but I don't want to take chances.

Why did you have to sign this agreement? Did you get a DUI?

The reason WHY will help us answer you better. However, if you have been required not to drink at all it would be in your best interests to refrain from alcohol until your probation is over.

So don't take the chance.

You agreed to drink no alcohol. "No" means no.

Hello h:

I don't know what you did to have to agree NOT to drink. You seem to think you DON'T have a problem with drinking, but you sure do want to DO it for a person WITHOUT a problem...

Besides, did you DRIVE while you were drunk?? That's problematic, even if YOU don't think so. That's probably what you did. I haven't heard too many people being restricted from drinking for shoplifting...

And, apparently, you're going to do it again, too, since you don't think you're a problem drinker. I don't think many people should BE in jail, but people like YOU should be. So, I'd just drink a couple glasses. Have three. Of course, it WON'T show up. You'll be fine...
