A gear of radius 4.6 centimeters turn at 3 revolutions per second. What is the linear velocuity of the gear in centimeters per second?

You can use the relationship:

v = \omega r

where \omega is the speed of rotation in radians/second, and r is the radius of rotation. Don't forget to convert 3 rev/sec into radians/sec. Post back with your answer and we'll check it for you.
