I snaked through the everflow pipe in the tub about 13ft and nothing came out. When I run the bathroom sink the water backs up into the bathtub. I tried snaking through the sink also and I think the snake is getting stuck. Ive tried drano and plunging I've also tried baking soda and vinegar.

Are any of the other drains in the house backing up.

And normally drain chemical cleaners just make it more dangerous when you have to actually snake or clean the drain.

You may have to have a company come in to snake the drain further down.

If you can get under the house (basement or crawl space) there may be clean outs in the pipes to allow you better place to clean from

It sounds like you didn't run out enough snake when you snaked from the overflow. What I usually do is let the tub back up enough to just come out of the drain. That way when I hit and clear the clog the water drains out and the drain is cleared. Good luck, Tom

I had to get a plumber he ended up putting a hole in my. Downstairs neighbors ceiling and having to take the pipes apart and clean them out from down there.

I sure would be interested in knowing why he couldn't snake from a drain or cleanout. But I'm glad you got it cleared and thanks for the update. Tom
