I never saw this movie, only the preview. I believe that it must have come out in the late 80's or early 90's. All I remember from the preview was a young love story (perhaps childhood sweethearts) that took place in the jungle. I believe the guy was white and the girl asian. This couple was torn apart by war (I think) and the guy was leaving the jungle. The couple didn't know if they would ever see each other again. I'm not sure if he was leaving to fight or leaving because the war was on the horizon. Please someone tell me the name of this film! It has been bugging me for years!!
