I don't know if I am spotting or just having a light period. It's a lot lighter than usual but, I have the symptoms of a pregnancy. I read that some people can confuse spotting for a light period, so I am not sure. Please help. Thanks.

If the spotting has just started, give it a couple of days and see if it is just your period starting. If you continue to just spot for a few days, and nothing more, try a pregnancy test. If it is negative, wait another week or so and test again.

Could be due to a pregnancy, could be just an off cycle.
