Go to the courthouse where the papers were filed and do some research. Other then that you can try asking the other party where the papers are or where they were filed.

At the court house where the custody case was heard before the judge.
If in the US, it is almost impossible ( but not completely) to be able to sign away your rights, except for adoption, So if this was in the US, more than likely even if you signed some paper the mother gave you, it is not legal or binding.

The baby was adopted out, but they told me I was just signing a permission form for them to take my blood. The lady that took my blood is also the lady that adopted the baby

You have to sign in COURT to relinquish parental rights.
They then explain to you EXACTLY what you are signing away.
I think you need to check with the court that you went to for copies of your relinquishment papers.
How old is the child now?

He just turned 15, his biological mother just contacted me on fb and told me he was mine, she just didn't tell me for whatever reason, I never went to a court to sign anything.

I'm confused, if you didn't sign any papers how do you expect to find copies of them? Who is telling you that papers were signed?
So the mother just informed you you have a child, is she trying to get support from you or what? What is it you want?

How old was the baby when the baby was adopted out and where did this happen at? Was it in the hospital shortly after birth ?

No she doesn't want child support she doesn't have him either he was adopted. I signed what I thought was a release form for them to draw my blood, they cane to my house and did it. I was only 17 at the time so who knows what I really signed.

File a petition to get visitation of the child. If such papers were signed, they will have to prove it.

I second Scott's question: What are you hoping to get or accomplish with this?
No one is going to overturn an adoption after 15 years.

Both of his adoptive parents are dead he was just recently re adopted in 2011, all I want is to be able to have some sort of visitation with him.
